Sam made a liar out of me....

I found out he HAS been wandering!

Right before I took Mama to her hearing appointment, I got a call from someone at Elmore's Carpets. They told me they had my dog. I said I'd be right there. There he was looking all innocent. I put him in the backseat and thanked the person for calling. I said I hoped it wouldn't happen again but that if it did, I'd appreciate a call. Since we were running short on time, I had to take him with us. He waited patiently and seemed to know he was in trouble. Mama got her hearing aide adjusted and cleaned. She can hear better again.

Next I took Mama to vote. I found that he'd also been THERE that morning when they opened the polls. They said they almost let him vote. One man said he'd seen him at the new Dollar General Store and a little boy said he thought he'd seen him at the fire station playground the other day. This dog's been everywhere! Here I thought he was doing so well and he's been EVERYWHERE!

He had also been hunting! He brought in his fifth ground hog today!
