Sam has a great new home....

Sam has moved to Lexington....He now lives with Tim, Amy, Cy, Griffin, and Avery. He must think he's in heaven!

He has a huge fenced yard and plently of people to pet him, spoil him, and let him sleep on their bed! He has a new best friend named Sidney! and.........

Amy called to tell me he brought her a large ground hog. She said he was so proud of it. He brought it to her for her approval and then lugged it up the hill and lay down under a shade tree with it. Who knew he could find a ground hog in town, in their back yard, under the shed! They won't have to worry about having a ground hog infestation!

I think with all that love, attention and ground hogs too, he must be the happiest dog on earth,

Apparently he doesn't listen very well. He wasn't listening to me very well the last few days he was here either. The urge to run is greater than the desire to obey. I've read they can be very strong willed at times and need firm instruction. I think he'll be okay. I hope he stays out of trouble from now on. (He got out of the yard and wouldn't come when called!)

I miss him and miss hearing him plop down in the hallway like a big bag of bones. However, I'm so happy about where he is that it more than makes up for it. At least with him being there, I know he's not following walkers, runners, bikers, or mail trucks and wandering the streets (and crossing them) around here.

Thank you to taking him! I know you will love him as much as I do!
